John V. Esposito is the President of Intra-State Investigation Services, Inc., a New York State licensed private investigation agency which he founded in 1958. The agency conducts civil, criminal prosecution, criminal defense, vehicle accident investigations, in addition to child custody, pre-employment, background and insurance fraud investigations.
•••His extensive background includes service as Chief of Police of the Town of Marlborough Police Department and Chief of Police of Metro-North Commuter Railroad Police Department, a division of the New York State Metropolitan Transportation Authority.
•••During his many years of public service he served as an active police officer and police supervisor earning twenty one police commendations. During his lengthy law enforcement career, he participated in numerous state and federal in-service training programs.
•••Mr. Esposito has been an instructor at the Railroad Police Academy and has given in-service training seminars for both Railroad and Municipal Police Officers. He lectured on criminal investigation techniques, robbery investigations, interrogation techniques, statement taking and report writing.
•••In addition to authoring original Rules and Regulations for the Town of Marlborough Police Department, he co-authored the Rules and Procedure Manual for Metro-North Commuter Railroad Police Department. He wrote numerous short articles which appeared in a number of law enforcement publications.
•••Mr Esposito's professional memberships include the Associated Licensed Detectives of New York State and Life Membership in the International Association of Chiefs of Police. Additionally, he is a former member of the National Law Enforcement Officers Association, the Ulster County Police Chiefs Association, the Westchester County Police Chiefs Association and the New York State Police Chiefs Association.
